Drake International - Recruitment database and CRM. Users: Managers, Admin Staff, Employers.
Drake International identified a gap for UK agencies that needed high volume call centre recruitment at lower cost, without the friction of offshore time zones or cultural mismatch. By using South African teams working UK hours, they could deliver speed and quality at a competitive rate.
To scale this up, Drake needed a modern platform that handled thousands of applicants, automated early screening and kept clients fully informed. Manual spreadsheets and inboxes could not keep pace with CV flow, interview scheduling, compliance checks and reporting. The system had to be secure, auditable and easy for UK agencies to search and shortlist candidates in minutes.
We worked with Drake’s operations and UK agency partners to map sourcing, screening, interview and offer workflows. From this we produced a specification covering roles, SLAs, data fields, consent, document packs and MI.
Prototype screens for candidate intake, pipelines, client search and messaging were reviewed and signed off before build. We implemented bulk import from job boards and web forms, automated pre-screening rules for skills and tenure, and two way messaging for scheduling.
Data was imported from existing Excel spreadsheets with formatting being applied to ensure data validation.
A client portal gave UK partners access via PC and mobile devices. The platform was built with role based access, audit trails and GDPR controls, and designed to handle spikes in volume.
Key features

The new platform became the hub for Drake Direct’s UK programmes, reducing admin, improving speed and giving agencies immediate access to pre-vetted talent. Candidate pipelines move faster, communication is consistent and compliance is built in.
